CBS Philly is reporting that three people were hurt in an accident involving a SEPTA bus and a minivan. The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 PM on Thursday afternoon.
According to police authorities, the crash happened on Verree Road in the 8900 block. They further state that the bus crashed into nearby woods after hitting the minivan.
A knee injury was incurred by a 16 year old bus passenger, a girl, who was received by Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. In addition, The SEPTA driver was also taken to the hospital with an injury not yet disclosed or known.
The unidentified 62-year-old male minivan driver sustained critical injuries and was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale.
Both SEPTA and Philadelphia police are continuing to investigate the accident.
