6ABC.com and WPVI are reporting that a motorcyclist has died of injuries sustained after hitting a pothole in Penn’s Landing.
The accident occurred on Saturday at approximately 5:25 PM. The location was on I-95 under the Ben Franklin Bridge in the northbound direction.
According to authorities, the cyclist lost control his bike when he hit the pothole. He then hit a guardrail.
The 23 year old motorcyclist was from Collegville, Pennsylvania and his identity has not yet been released.
The accident investigation is presumed to be ongoing.
