The Allentown Morning Call is reporting that fifteen people have been injured in a collision between a commuter bus and a tractor-trailer in Philadelphia. The accident happened at 5:30 AM this morning.
The accident location is at the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Orthodox Street.
The Morning Call says that it was a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority Route 5 bus that was involved in the accident. WPVI-TV was told the bus was proceeding northbound when it hit the semi, which was attempting to turn onto Frankford Avenue.
The Einstein Medical Center has received 15 bus passengers for treatment.
